High School Musical + Bad Lip Reading = Parody Gold ⋆

It’s been ten years since High School Musical first debuted on the Disney Channel, and regardless of your feelings on the bubbly pre-teen series, it was a huge hit and left its mark on the world of popular media.

In an unlikely pairing, Disney XD has partnered with the YouTube channel Bad Lip Reading to create a half hour parody of the first High School Musical. Bad Lip Reading has done Star Wars, The Hunger Games, Twilight, political speeches, and even NFL football. For High School Musical, they’ll reproduce both dialogue and songs from the first film.

The High School Musical Bad Lip Reading will air as a TV special on Monday, July 11^th at 11am on Disney XD.
