Ever since Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them came out, I’ve been waiting (super impatiently) for the next movie to come about. While we continue to wait for the DVD to come out on March 11th, we have been graced with a new present from the Potterworld.

Pottermore, the website for all of your other Harry Potter needs, has announced that Fantastic Beast and Where to Find Them will become an audiobook. Not just any audiobook though. No, no, we are getting an audiobook by Mr. Newton Artemis Fido Scamander himself. That’s right Eddie Redmayne is lending his voice to narrate Newt’s book, Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them.

It’s such a cool way to go with the book and to hear Newt narrating his own book will probably be the best thing ever. I’d listen to Newt tell me a bedtime story and now he gets to tell everyone about the beasts he’s come across in his travels.

Check out the announcement video below and some of Eddie reading from his, Oops, sorry, Newt’s book.

The preorder is now available for Audible USUK and Australia, but will be available for purchase on March 14th! The updated book version of Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them via eBook and Print will also be available on the same date.
