So why is this happening? Ticketmaster recently settled a lawsuit for excessive fees. As opposed to paying cash for all of the settlement, they’ve decided to give out free tickets. That means that if you’ve bought tickets using Ticketmaster any time during the eligible period, you probably already have them. Go under your account, and then vouchers. I found that I had eleven pairs of tickets good for four years and god knows how many discounts for fees on tickets.

There are obviously restrictions so don’t expect to get free tickets when the seats would normally cost you an arm and a leg. Still, they can’t be overly restrictive otherwise the vouchers are basically useless and Ticketmaster couldn’t get away with that.
