In this house, we love and respect Robert Stromberg and Linda Woolverton’s Maleficent. Odds are we here are gonna love the absolute hell out of the sequel, deliciously subtitled Mistress of Evil.
Today we got our first look at the October release, and, as you can see above, it looks *one-million chef kisses*.
Better still, it looks like the whole gang is back! Juno Temple, Imelda Staunton, and Lesley Manville are returning as the Fairies. The adorable Sam Riley is back, as is the luminous Elle Fanning.
Joining them this time round is Janet Van Dyne herself, Michelle Pfeiffer, as surely new sparring partner for Jolie. That alone is going to be worth a ticket. We don’t really get much by way of story, but I am still liking what I’m seeing so far.
