Boasting fantastic art and an intriguing premise, BATMAN: DAMNED #1 suggests a spooky Dark Knight tale that may be worth following.
As much as I like the flow and the look of Cover #1, there was not enough story with Max and Julia for me to be all in yet.
Unless you were a hardcore fan of the original series, then Scarlet #1 is an easy skip. Bland characters in a bland setting.
