We start with talking about some of the trailers that came out at SDCC 2019. We discuss what we are looking forward to … and then there’s Cats.
We then move onto the Phase 4 announcements for the MCU as we talk about what shows and movies we are looking forward to next.
“What the What” news of the Week
We discuss a Kickstarter for a new game that just can’t be described here. Listen to the podcast to get an idea of the ridiculousness of this new game.
Comics
This week, we take on the Glow Summer Special as the US and Russia battle for the ultimate prize: The Glitter Bomb! Then we travel to deep space with a pair of books. First off is Starcraft Survivors #1. Will the comic live up to the game that is based on? Next we follow some kids on the way to space camp with Star Pig #1. Everything is going fine until a tardigrade shows up and an alien obsessed with the human experience tries to probe our hero.
We wrap up with the beginning of Hickman taking over the X-Men with House of X #1. Don’t worry, we have plenty of charts to discuss.
