Because the announcement of a new X-Men title featuring the revived Jean Grey apparently wasn’t enough news for one day, Marvel has offered another tease for fans to chew on: there’s a wedding happening in the Marvel Universe in June 2018!

Revealed in a promo image commemorating past Marvel nuptials drawn by Phil Noto (Storm & Black Panther, Hank Pym & Janet van Dyne, Cyclops & Jean Grey, Northstar & Kyle Jinadu, and Mr. Fantastic & Invisible Woman), we don’t actually know whose wedding this will be just yet, so why don’t we speculate a bit?

Storm & Black Panther

Yes, Ororo and T’Challa have already been married, but their inclusion in the promo image could be a red herring. Each will have their own solo title by June (coincidentally both written by Ta-Nehisi Coates), and who wouldn’t love a wedding-based crossover? Nobody said this mystery union wouldn’t be a reprise — and it doesn’t hurt that T’Challa will be dominating the cultural conversation with his debut film in February. Why not capitalize with some good old cross-promotional synergy?

Peter Parker & Mary-Jane Watson

Another couple who used to be married, but were deemed so narratively staid that Marvel conceived a whole crossover event with the sole intention of retconning their marriage from continuity, it would be pretty ballsy for Marvel to reunite their most iconic supercouple after so much effort to split them apart. But hey, if it’s gonna happen anywhere, Chip Zdarsky’s ultra-personal, relationship-focused Peter Parker: The Spectacular Spider-Man could be the place to do it. It’s also worth noting that they’re a glaring omission in the above promo image — is that a hint? You decide.

Hulkling & Wiccan

Northstar may have beaten these two to the distinction of having the Marvel Universe’s first same-sex marriage in 2013, but a wedded union between these Young Avengers has been in the cards for a while. It’s already been established in canon that Teddy and Billy will be husbands at some point, so it’s more a question of when than if. Neither of them currently appear in a monthly title, though, so I don’t think we’ll be seeing these two walk down the aisle together anytime soon.

Kitty Pryde & Colossus

Nuptials between the X-Men’s Gold Team leader and her Russian beau aren’t totally unlikely, especially since they recently rekindled their romance. Just last week, X-Men: Gold writer Marc Guggenheim promised some substantial life changes were on the way for Kitty and Piotr, and getting married is a pretty big step for anyone to take, let alone the current headmistress of the Xavier Academy and the stalwart X-Man.

Iceman & Romeo (and/or) Judah

This one is a little weird. Since coming out as gay, both versions of Bobby Drake —original adult Bobby, and time-displaced teen Bobby— have gotten their own love interests, so we might see either (if not both) of them getting hitched. As much as I’d love an Iceman double wedding, however, this one is probably a long shot. Speaking of which…

Longshot & Dazzler

Just kidding. This one is… a long shot.

Angela & Sera

They’re one of the unlikelier options on this list, since they’ve been physically separated for unknown reasons in current continuity, but Thor’s half-sister and her equally badass girlfriend have a passionate following in queer-centric Marvel fandom. They may as well be finally reunited and put a ring on it.

Rogue & Gambit

Of all the suggestions here, I’m putting my money on everyone’s favorite will-they-or-won’t-they mutant supercouple. The timing works out perfectly — a five-issue Rogue & Gambit series (by Kelly Thompson and Pere Perez) is arriving in early 2018, and it’ll presumably end around the given wedding date. What better way to conclude a ship-based comic series than with a wedding?
