Are you a lady and lover of comics? Do you want to socialize and hang out with other awesome ladies who also love comics? Then you should check out Comic Shop Ladies Night. This event is back again for April for women to socialize in Toronto around their love for comics and geek culture!
According to Alice Quinn, one of the organizers of this wonderful event, the focus is “A casual, inclusive, safe space for women in Toronto to socialize and share their love of comics and geekdom. This event is held at no cost to the attendees, and is open to all female-identifying members of the public.” This event has been hosted all over Toronto at some big comic stores like The Sidekick, The TCAF Store, and Paradise Comics.
“We believe these events are truly important to help reach out to fans and young women who may have trouble finding their nerdy peers.” Said Alice, “If we manage to reach out to one closet fan and introduce her to the amazing people in Toronto and encourage her that she can be herself – then we consider it a successful Ladies Night!”
