NetherRealm Studios has released a trailer for Injustice 2 for their latest character: Doctor Fate!
Doctor Fate has been a part of comics since the early days, but this is the first time the character will be playable in video game form. Kent Nelson will done the helmet in the game, but with Injustice 2‘s robust costume system I would expect every iteration of Doctor Fate to appear in one way or another. His play style draws heavily on mix ups and ranged attacks, which will be a nice change of pace from the punch fest that was Injustice: Gods Among Us. Plus, any character that isn’t a Batman character is a win in my book.
Injustice 2 will be available on May 16th, 2017 for Playstaion 4 and Xbox One. There will be 3 versions released. In addition to the standard edition, a Deluxe Edition with three to-be-announced DLC characters and a Power Girl skin for Supergirl, and an Ultimate Edition with nine to-be-announced DLC characters, a Power Girl skin for Supergirl, a Reverse-Flash skin for the Flash and a John Stewart skin for Green Lantern. You can pre-order the fighting game from Amazon.
