The inaugural HASCON attracted huge crowds on Saturday, September 9 and Sunday, September 10 at the Rhode Island Convention Center. The convention was jam-packed with panels, demos, and brand experiences, including a My Little Pony “ponification” station and a larger-than-life Yahtzee! bowling game. Hasbro is the largest toy company in the world, and its first-ever fan convention reflects that scope. Here’s the second (and final) post in our official HASCON wrap-up!

If you’ve been following us on Twitter, you may have caught our livetweets of the “Voices of My Little Pony” “IDW and Hasbro: Over 12 Years of Amazing Comics” panels, as well as a panel with Guardians of the Galaxy director James Gunn. We also live tweeted the “DnD: Monster Building” panel, wherein the audience helped the Dungeons and Dragons creative team craft a spider-shark with its own design and stats.

If you missed out, follow the tweet links below to see the threads.

Plus, we got a chance to play the brand new Magic: The Gathering Arena PC game and interview Magic vice president of global brand strategy Elaine Chase. Later in the day, we had a chat with My Little Pony lead storyteller Meghan McCarthy and vice president of global brand strategy and marketing Tyla Bucher

On Sunday, we got a demo of Magic: The Gathering Puzzle Quest, which we’ll review later this week!

To close out this HASCON wrap-up, here are some pictures of our favorite cosplayers. (Click through each slide!)
