The second week of January finds us starting awards season and the Golden Globes were awarded last night. Several popular shows are returning this week.

Jim Gaffigan: Cinco Netflix- The popular comedians latest comedy special is available for streaming today
This is Us 9pm NBC- The critically acclaimed freshman drama returns from its winter break, so get your Kleenex ready.
Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. 10pm ABC- Marvels only network series returns with the promise of someones from Agent Mays past showing up.
Taboo 10pm FX- This new limited run series stars Tom Hardy, and was created by Steven Knight

Wednesday January 11th

Jeff & Some Aliens 10:30 pm Comedy- Expanded from a sketch from the show TripTank, comes a animated show about a man and his adventures as a test subject for extraterrestrials
Workaholics 10 pm Comedy – The long running show returns for a 7th and final season

Thursday January 12th

Colony 10pm USA-The sophomore show staring Lost Alum Josh Holloway premieres.

Friday January 13th

Lemony Snicket’s A Series of Unfortunate Events Netflix-The live action version of the books written by Daniel Handler comes to Netflix for an eight episode run
 Sneaky Pete  Amazon-The story of a man who takes on the identity of his former cell-mate when he is released from prison.

 Sunday January 15th

 Homeland  9pm Showtime- The popular show makes it return for season 6
 Victoria  9pm PBS-PBS heads back to the well with a British time period about Queen Victoria
 The Young Pope  HBO- The series follows the story of a fictitious American born Pope
