Marvel Rising: Ms. Marvel/Squirrel Girl #1 doesn’t disappoint as the penultimate issue of the Marvel Rising series. The story is full of action and humor!
Mr & Mrs X #1 does an excellent job of filling in the blanks from the wedding and moving the story forward. Thompson’s love for this duo shows!
Here are my 10 most anticipated new releases, plus 5 honorable mentions — hey, it’s hard to pick just 10 — for September 2018.
Jessica Jones #1 is a fantastic surprise. I couldn’t imagine anyone else other than Thompson taking over for one of Bendis’ most-prized creations.
Marvel Super Hero Adventures: Ms. Marvel and the Teleporting Dog #1 is great for children wanting to get into superhero comics.
X-23 #1 is a great jumping on point for new readers, while providing a new and fulfilling direction for returning readers.
The first arc will really go a long way in establishing this creative team and how people will look back on Captain America #1.
