With issue #25 of Lumberjanes ending on the (slightly horrifying) note of Rosie and The Grand Lodge ladies being carried off by a giant bird, May’s issue opens with the group of adventurous ladies going to rescue their leaders!
The Unlucky Four (the dog, cat, horse, and rooster) have arrived at Twilight’s Bastion, without any of the fallen stars, but concerned for Master Long. When they’ve scaled the cliffs that protect Twilight’s Bastion, they find their Master in even worse condition than they feared.
ssue two of Army of Darkness Furious Road was amazing. Issue three is amazeballs! The Evil-Deadness of this series is really shining through with issue three with blood and gore and chainsaws cutting off hands–oh my, yes!
Believe it or not, kid’s comics are some of the best comics being produced. They’re bright, colourful, cute, funny, and just plain endearing. And Clarence: Chicken Phantom is all of the above!
