Immerse yourself in the music of the Rogue’s! It’s time for the June compilation for The Rogue’s Mixtape of the Month on 8tacks! The Rogue’s Mixtape is a monthly collection of music collected from movie, television, and video game soundtracks/scores that have a similar genre or stylistic feel.
This month’s collection has been complied by Rogues Portal writer Stephen and he’d like to dedicate it to all the hard-rocking metalheads. True heavy metal tracks are hard to work into soundtracks but it’s not impossible. From The Crow to 300 to Spongebob Squarepants the Movie soundtracks, this month’s mixtape has you covered for a true symphonic playlist! Let the metal take you from Heaven to Hell and everywhere in between!*

*Note from the compiler: There are three rules for this playlist. The first is no hair metal or nu metal. The second rule was that I would only allow one song per band. I did make an exception with Black Sabbath, as I allowed for one Ozzy era song and one Dio era song. The third, and final restriction was that bands I chose had to be undeniably metal and not hard rock. That meant no AC/DC or Led Zeppelin as they’re both more hard rock than metal.
