So begins AS THE SPARROW FLIES, the latest fantasy epic by Chad Corrie, the author of “The Wizard King Trilogy” and “The Shadow Regent”. Annulis is a world on the brink of destruction, its citizens split between factions: those who would accept its demise, “embracing the end”; while others hold onto the hope for a better future. Sarah is one such believer, who follows her fellow Sojourners in a search for a city that may not exist but which many believe could lead them to salvation. Opposite Sarah is Elliott, whose own compatriots long for oblivion, believing the fate of Annulis’ destruction will bring forth the joy of rebirth. As both parties close in on the ancient city, their fates will be tied to one another. And both will have to live with their actions, assuming either survive.
