News
This week on The Comics Agenda, we start this week out talking about the two new bosses at DC comics and what they may be able to bring to the table as DC tries to right the ship. We also get into Dan Slott weighing in on what type of quips Spider-Man should be allowed to make. We wrap up with talking about Scott Snyder’s new imprint over at Image Comics and the Kickstarter for the first book.
When you gotta go.
Michael brings us a story of a public restroom in Japan that is translucent. We talk about the reason why the choice was made, if we would use said restroom, and what other places would make for interesting visuals if translucent.
Comics
This week, we check out the newest Power Rangers mini-series with Power Rangers Drakkon New Dawn #1. What happens when Kimberly defeats the Ranger Slayer? Only one way to find out. We next travel into deep space for a comic that is based on a podcast. The first question is, why doesn’t someone want to do a comic about us? The second question is if Voyage To The Stars is worth a read.
Over in the Marvel corner, we take a look at a comic 30 years in the making as Peter David and Germán Peralta revisit their classic Future Imperfect storyline in Maestro #1. Finally, we wrap up with a little witchcraft and monster hunting in Shadow Service #1.
Comics Agenda is hosted by Michael (Twitter@mokepf7) and Greg (Twitter@Comicsportsgeek). We discuss new comicbook releases each week, in addition to news, movies, and TV.
