Far Cry 6 will finally be revealing gameplay footage on Friday, May 28, at 0930 PDT, Ubisoft announced. The announcement was paired with a small teaser video voiced by the lead actor Giancarlo Esposito. With the exception of the initial announcement trailer, very little has been revealed for the sixth game in the popular Far Cry franchise.

Far Cry 6, delayed last year from its initial February 2021 date, has yet to confirm a new release date. Currently, Ubisoft has only given a flexible date of 2021 to March 2022.

Hopefully the gameplay reveal comes paired with a estimated date for Far Cry 6’s release.

Far Cry 6 has been announced, revealing a Caribbean island simmering with revolutionary tension. The Far Cry franchise has always had a flair for fascinating antagonists, and Far Cry 6 will feature actor Giancarlo Esposito (“Better Call Saul,” “The Boys,” “The Mandalorian”) as President Anton Castillo, the violent leader who grips the island of Yara with an iron fist, promising a return to its former glory. With an arsenal of weapons and allies at your back, you’ll take on Castillo’s regime and fight for the future of Yara. Far Cry 6 is coming to Xbox Series X, PS5, Xbox One, PS4, Stadia, and PC (through the Epic Games Store, Uplay, and UPLAY+).
