Now that fall is officially here, many of the major companies are rolling out their traditional fall line-ups. With that in mind we have a couple of staff picks for what we are looking forward to, followed by the general schedule of what’s new this week!

Must Watch: This is Us, NBC

Anelise Farris: I am super excited for a new season! I was hooked after one episode. It’s an affecting, engaging drama with some fantastic acting!
Greg Brothers: By far the best new show last season. It reminds you on a weekly basis that family is much more than just the blood running through your veins. Great writing! Wonderful Acting! And enough emotion to keep Kleenex is business.
Samantha PearsonI haven’t watched this series yet because I’m honestly not ready to cry that much but now that season two is starting, I think I’ll probably catch up and tune in every week. The cast is great! I’m so ready.

Anelise’s Picks

  1. Modern Family, ABC
This has been one of my favorite comedies for a while now. It has such a diverse cast, and it never fails to make me laugh!
  2. The Exorcist, Fox
I cannot say enough good things about this show. It is the BEST horror television series that I have seen in a long time (perhaps ever??). It is sophisticated and terrifying, and I am so excited that it is back.
  3. Marvel’s Inhumans, ABC
I am eager to see where this goes! Fingers crossed.

Greg Brothers’ Picks

  1. Designated Survivor, ABC
This series was intense last year. Year two has promised to turn the crazy and backstabbing up to eleven so hang on.
  2. Law & Order: SVU, NBC
I have no idea what season this series is on to, but the it continues to be one of my standbys.
  3. Superstore, NBC
I really thing that Superstore gets looked over as one of the best comedies in TV right now. I would put their best episodes up against any of the episides of The Office for best workplace comedy ever.
