Mobile Gaming Review: Laser Kitty Pow Pow

We at Rogues Portal were lucky enough to get a sneak peek of Laser Kitty Pow Pow, an upcoming retro style mobile game. You are a crystal boosted flying kitty. One that shoots lasers from its eyes to destroy your enemies that seek to destroy you and your fluff. You must fight your way through the different areas to be free.
You pass each level by collecting the crystals which you use to unlock chests for prizes including more coins. After beating each level, you get bonus coins for completing it for the first time. Coins are used to buy more cats or to boost up your skills that you acquire as you level up.
You play by tapping either side of the screen to shoot your enemies. The challenge is that if you tap on the right side of the screen you shoot the enemies on the right, but you move to the left side and vice versa. You need to try and balance yourself in the middle. In order to avoid being too much on either side where you can get hit by enemy attacks.
The game is fun to waste a few minutes here and there. It’s good for waiting for the bus or casual gaming. I can see how there would be a lot of replaying levels to get more crystals or more coins. Especially to buy more cats or upgrade your skills to help get through some tougher levels later on.
The Verdict:
Check it out. Laser Kitty Pow Pow is nothing too intensive about the game where you need to invest a lot of time into it. It is a fun little game to kill some time while waiting around.
