OH MY GOD. It’s HAPPENING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am a HUGE fan of the IDW series Locke & Key by Joe Hill and Gabriel Rodriguez. It’s such a fantastic and consistent series that follows the Locke children and their lives after the suffer the tragic loss of their father. Returning to their old family house, they try to start fresh in a new town but it would be a pretty boring horror-fantasy comic if that was all that was going on…

The Locke children discover that the house has many secrets including the fact that there are a series of keys waiting to be discovered – each with a different power that it bestows on the beholder.

WoooOOOooooooah!

Scott Derrickson who you might know from a little film called Doctor Strange is set to direct and my god, I’m so damn excited… CAN YOU TELL?!

This isn’t the first time that Locke & Key has filmed a pilot. In 2011, they tried to transform the comic into something more but it ultimately didn’t make it to air. The comic hadn’t wrapped up at that time, so I think that it’s for the best but still, it looked pretty cool. You can see the trailer for that version below:
