Impossible Jones is the lively answer we need for every serious superhero comic out there. Mistaken for a superhero, Impossible Jones is a thief who embraces this mistaken identity to get exactly what she wants… a good time with monetary rewards. The preview pages on the main Kickstarter page give us a good glimpse of the escapades Impossible Jones will be getting up to: Stopping criminals mid-heist, only to keep the stolen jewels for herself. They are perfect teasers of the fun readers can expect.

Straddling the line between crime-fighting duties and pulling off her own capers, Impossible Jones: Grin & Gritty will be delivering 110+ pages of action and adventure all wrapped in a hardcover graphic novel. It even comes with a foreword from well-known comics writer Gail Simone.

As of now, only issue 1 has been completed, and this graphic novel will collect the first five Impossible Jones issues with estimated delivery of January 2020.

Our recommendation is the $35 USD ‘The Goods – But Better!’ backer level. This includes a physical copy of Impossible Jones, a digital PDF of the book, signed bookplate, your name thanked in the GN, and an Impossible Jones print and pdf version. This version also includes any additional content that is unlocked throughout the campaign, such as an Impossible Jones campaign sticker and a digital wallpaper.

Creative Team:

Co-creator, write, and inker Karl Kesel has lent his talents to both Marvel and DC Comics working on projects from Harley Quinn to Captain America. He has previously done Kickstarters for another creator-owned project called Section Zero with Tom Grummett.

Joining Kesel in the co-creator seat is artist David Hahn who is penciling Impossible Jones. Hahn also has a history with Marvel and DC Comics working on X-Men and Batman, as well as original series such as the Eisner nominated Private Beach.

Colouring Impossible Jones is Tony Avina (Suicide Squad: Hell to Pay) with COMICRAFT handling the lettering.
