Kickstarter, as you all know, is filled with wonderful projects every day. It’s hard to keep up with all the things that you could potentially want to support. There’s something for everyone there and especially something for amazing comic book fans looking for original and interesting books that other publishers aren’t giving us.

One of those books is Ricky Lima’s Happily Ever Aftr. The synopsis for the story is this: “Happily Ever Aftr is about a kidnapped princess who uses a dating app to find knights to come and rescue her. It also follows the princesses captor, Gretchen Grimhold, as she comes to terms with what love means to her. For generations, the firstborn Grimhold child has kidnapped a bride for marriage. So naturally, Gretchen follows tradition and kidnaps a beautiful bride for herself. This, unfortunately, does not sit well with her father who is not so accepting. Gretchen must now come to terms with her own sexuality as well as deal with the pressures put on her by her father.”

Delightful, right?? This book was previously on Kickstarter to fund the very first issue but now it’s back so that Lima can have the funds to do the FULL story and continue Princess Emily’s journey.

Some of the rewards for the book include the graphic novel (duh), rad prints featuring the characters, an original drawing of yourself in the style of the Happily Ever Aftr characters, commissions, original artwork and more!

There are 7 days left to support this wonderful Kickstarter with an absolutely delightful story and creative team. Check out the Kickstarter video before and make sure you visit the page to see how you can get in on this rad book.
