Gilmore Girls

It’s a great year for Gilmore Girls fans. New episodes of the show will debut on Netflix on November 25 and now a fan operated festival has been announced to be happening on October 21–23!

The Gilmore Girls Fan Fest is talking place in Washington Depot, Connecticut, which served as creator Amy Sherman-Palladino’s inspiration for the small town Stars Hollow that the series calls home.

The festival will allow fans to interact with some members of the cast while touring the town. Kelly Bishop (Emily Gilmore), Jackson Douglas (Jackson Belleville), Yanic Truesdale (Michel Gerard), Vanessa Marano (April Nardini), Rini Bell (Lulu), Aris Alvarado (Caesar), Biff Yeager (Tom), and Ted Rooney (Morey) will all be in attendance to participate in a panel discussion at the Town Hall.

The festival will also host some Gilmore Girls themed events, such as a knit-a-thon, coffee at the hardware store, and Friday Night Dinners. There will also be screenings of the pilot episode, the finale, and 10 episodes voted on by fans!

Sound like your kind of event? Head to the Fan Fest website for tickets!

I read, I write, I play videogames, Ghostbusters is my favourite thing in the known universe, but quasars come in at a close second. I've been known to cry at the drop of a hat over happy and sad things alike. I've also been known to fly into a rage if things don't go my way, leading to many a fight in high school and breaking someone's nose on the TTC one time. I'm an anxious introvert but also a loud-mouthed bad influence. Especially on my cat. He learned it from watching me, okay!
