For this weeks Geeky Diaries I decided to unbox one of my favourite Mystery Mini series from Funko: the My Little Pony Mystery Mini Pack! I’ve opened a few of these in the past and I have a few more still to open!
If you’re new to my articles then you would know that I wasn’t a big My Little Pony fan when I was younger but I do find them aesthetically cute!! I also love the quality of these products and if I had the finance I would definitely buy more!
This little Mystery Mini box comes from series 1 of the My Little Pony collection. There are 3 series in total. I haven’t purchased any from series 2 as I didn’t find any of the characters interesting to look at. However I have purchased one or two from series 3 which I am yet to open. They also now have a series 4 called ‘Power Ponies’ and they look pretty cute!!
There are 12 to collect all together in the first wave of My Little Pony Mystery Mini’s, two of them being glow in the dark. There are 1/12 chances for each one which is very fair. The 12 characters are:
- Derpy
- Derpy (glow in the dark)
- DJ Pon-3
- DJ Pon-3 (glow in the dark)
- Dr Whooves
- Fluttershy
- Lyra Heartstrings
- Octavia
- Pinkie Pie
- Rainbow Dash ( quite possibly my favourite, hopefully I will manage to snag her the more mini’s I buy)
- Sweetie Drops
- Spitfire
Since I already own Pinkie Pie and Dj Pon-3 I’m crossing my fingers it won’t be them!! Rainbow Dash I’m crossing my fingers for!!

DJ PON-3 (Glow in the Dark)
What luck!! Now I have both!! Of course I sleep at night so I’m not quite sure if it does glow in the dark but I’m not holding my breath!! So…who is DJ Pon-3?
I honestly cannot tell you which is my favourite, the white one or the black one!! I love them both!! It would’ve been nice to have gotten another, different kind of pony but honestly I’m still happy with mine!
