Even though I’m not a die-hard My Little Pony super fan, and I never watched the television show whilst growing up, I can appreciate the aesthetically cute image. The My Little Pony Funko Pop of course is no exception. Each little pony looks adorable and I will love to collect them all! Of course they have special edition Funko’s where the ponies are covered in glitter while others have a sheen to them. Fluttershy was a Christmas gift given to me by my housemate Helen, I love her so much, thank you Helen!

My Little Pony Generation 4
Most of the My Little Pony funko pops are characters from Generation 4. The fourth and current incarnation of My Little Pony began with the TV show My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic in 2010 and the associating toy line is often referred to Generation Four or “G4” by collectors. It features nine characters tied into the television series, which airs on Discovery Family: Twilight Sparkle, Rainbow Dash, Fluttershy, Pinkie Pie, Applejack, Rarity, Spike the Dragon, Princess Celestia, and Princess Luna. Set in Equestria, the show centers on the unicorn pony Twilight Sparkle as she learns lessons about friendship. Most of the characters on the show were designed by animator Lauren Faust, who also developed the show for television.

The Funko Pop
The Funko Pop itself is absolutely adorable! The cutie mark looks so small, but like it’s nickname suggests, it’s really cute! She stands up well and the colours are so pretty and vibrant! She brightens up the whole room, definitely the cutest Funko I own! There is a tiny bit of paint damage on her hair which you can clearly see in the images but that’s absolutely fine. It doesn’t particularly bother me.
