So far, the protagonists of No One Left to Fight (Vâle, Timór, and Krysta) took a beautiful road trip down memory lane.
Vâle wants to visit places of victory; places where he defeated the big bad guy. Unfortunately, melancholy and nostalgia have a way to bite you in the ass, as he soon has to learn for himself. The three former best friends already had to go through great struggles, even before they could start their trip. But those struggles have nothing to do with combat or their training. Their issues have more to do with unresolved tension and surprising encounters in their former school.
The creative team also introduced us to a badass bad guy, whose choice for transportation I would immediately steal. However, he seemingly left his villainy days behind him – at least as far as we know for now. No One Left to Fight quickly turned out to be a study about superheroes who have no one and nothing to fight anymore. Superheroes who have to figure out a new way of living. This series should be on everyone’s pull list.
