Comicsbound E34: The Best of 2016 and A Farewell to Carrie Fisher
First of all, a big farewell to one of the greatest women we’ll ever see on the big screen, Carrie Fisher. An extraordinary actress and just an overall amazing human being who was an advocate for mental illness and removing the stigma around it, and calling Hollywood out for any BS that she witnessed. She will be missed dearly and we’re ridiculously sad to lose her. 2016 can end ANY TIME NOW.
The gang catch up on quality time together and then talk about some of their favourite things such as (not just comics):
John Wick, Crazyhead, Chloe Noonan: Monster Hunter, Tyson Hesse’s Diesel, The Plain Janes, Patience, Hawkeye #1, Wonder Woman Vol. 1: The Lies, Green Arrow Vol. 1: The Life and Death of Oliver Queen, Generation Zero, Volume 1: We Are the Future, EI8HT, Vol. 1: Outcast, Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, Vol. 1: The Crucible, Zodiac Starforce: By the Power of Astra, Invisible Republic, Vol. 1, Velvet Vol. 3: The Man Who Stole the World, Batman Vol. 1: I Am Gotham, Action Comics, Trinity, Mighty Morphin’ Power Rangers, and more.
And THEN there’s a discussion about the Best of 2016 including the following topics:
