To call the Super Mario Encyclopedia an encyclopedia is generous at best. What is it then? Well, disappointing, for one. They didn’t even mention Waluigi!
Visually, Marvel Zombie #1 is… gross in the appropriate places for sure. But it also has some genuinely exciting heroic imagery!
Now that the actual fantasy elements have started to take the stage, Modern Fantasy is starting to look like a fun series with a slow start.
This book may not be everybody’s idea of a page-turner, but The Legend of Zelda Encyclopedia is a worthy addition to the Zelda library.

The Man of Steel #1 is a well-executed, grounded action piece in its own right, but I have a hunch it’is going to end up being more about Rogol Zaar.
In a lot of ways The Prisoner #1 has worked to ruin the sense of mystery that’s supposed to underly the Prisoner by answering too many questions up front.
Though the art in Action Comics #1000 is great and some of the stories do try to incorporate some of Superman’s core ethos, skip it.
