After what feels like one of the longest anticipated comic book concepts, DC finally announced a release date for Batman: Creature of the Night.

Batman: Creature of the Night is a four-issue prestige format limited series written by Kurt Busiek (Astro City) and drawn by John Paul Leon (Mother Panic). The story follows Bruce Wainwright, a young comic-book reader obsessed with stories of Batman, who must confront many of his own fears when his parents are murdered during a robbery.

DC stated that Batman: Creature of the Night is a companion piece to the 2004 series, Superman: Secret Identity.
