New This Week Video Games

November 14th – 18th

Most big games this year have already released. This week sees a lot of re-releases for modern consoles and only two big releases, Watch Dogs 2 on the 15th and the sure to be gargantuan Pokémon Sun and Moon on the 18th. It will be interesting to see how well Pokémon Sun and Moon perform given how big Pokémon GO was earlier in the year.

As far as remasters go, the big one this week is Assassin’s Creed: The Ezio Collection. This modern remaster includes three Assassin’s Creed games, Assassin’s Creed II, Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood and Assassin’s Creed: Revelations. II is widely considered the best in the series, and the Xbox 360 version is backwards compatible with the Xbox one already. However, the pure value for your dollar for the collection is great considering the amount of remastered content included. The weeks full release’s are below.
