The Marvel Universe is headed for yet another reality warp in this week’s Heroes Reborn #1, and it’s down to a certain Daywalker to fix it.
Set in 1936 Chinatown, The Good Asian follows Edison Hark, mainland America’s first Chinese American detective. He is tasked with finding Ivy Chen, a maid and secret lover of his surrogate father, millionaire Mason Carroway. But what starts as a simple missing persons case quickly escalates into something more dire.
First issues are tough, and while I’m not convinced that all of my questions are going to be answered any time soon, the creative team’s skills will bring me back to at least check out the second issue of Broken Souls Ballad.
