Zack Snyder has “released” the first footage for Aquaman’s Atlantean city from the upcoming Justice League film. Snyder took to social media to give us a glimpse (a very brief glimpse) at what’s to come…

Honestly, the first thing I thought of when I saw this was Derek from Zoolander.

Let’s focus for a second… who’s he swimming towards? Is it King Triton? Are we mashing worlds together? Asking for a friend who’s obsessed with The Little Mermaid who’s totally not me. Ha ha ha…

But really, the speculation here is that the beardy fellow he’s swimming towards might be Arthur Curry’s half-bro bro Orm, played by Patrick Wilson in the standalone Aquaman film. However, this footage is from Justice League so it might be a little weird to have him appear ahead of his role in Aquaman.

Regardless, it won’t be much longer until we know more.

Let’s just watch this GIF on repeat from now until then… hnnnnnnng…

What do you think of the footage? Does this make you more excited? Less excited? Tell us!
