With entertaining, yet respectable performances and strengthened by a deep, pointed well of queer energy in its heart, A Very English Scandal is watching.
There’s a heaviness in Castle Rock. Perhaps evil. Perhaps malevolent. The surface is simmering, and underneath are secrets waiting to break through.
Ordeal by Innocence is a surprise for those who read the novel, including the darker ending that makes for a great adaptation.
Strange Angel is a moody, strange, yet intriguing television show. With top-notch acting and a story that slowly builds, teasing what’s to come.
Picnic at Hanging Rock is a great show. The visual spectacle, the actors, the story, it will not disappoint. This isn’t a traditional mystery.
The Staircase has a huge place in the true crime community, providing an interesting look into a famous case and the flawed way it was handled on all sides.
There’s intrigue, excellent drama, suspense and good performances from dedicated actors. If you like these elements, 13 Reasons Why won’t disappoint.
These final episodes before the season finale turn the screws tight for David and company and in doing so, making some pretty goddamn compelling TV along.
