Cowards Die Many Times is plot-heavy as Will struggles to become a great playwright while also struggling under the guilt of betraying his Catholic roots.

Will S01E01, The Play’s the Thing, dives right into the life of young Shakespeare, who’s leaving Stratford for London with a copy of Richard III in hand.
