Krypton really earned its “Most Improved” trophy thanks to it sticking to its guns and delivering a truly fun season finale in “The Phantom Zone.”
Welcome back, citizens, to the TV Reaction to Krypton! This time we’re looking at episode 9, the penultimate episode of the SyFy Channel’s freshman series.
With only two episodes left in the first season, Krypton is leaps and bounds better than it was.
Krypton is starting to grow out of being a guilty pleasure to a legitimately great fandom entry.
“House of Zod” puts Krypton back on solid ground thanks to engaging direction, a commitment to its intrigue, and one genuinely unexpected final twist.
Despite the brain bug and Dr. Moon from Silence in the Library’s presence, Krypton’s “The Word of Rao” is really nothing to write home about.
Though it is nowhere near the level that ads have been selling you, Krypton and its creative staff seem to have a handle on the core tenants of Superman.
“House of El” is a fun watch thanks to the group of amazing women in its cast and the show’s understanding what makes the Superman symbol an inspiring icon.
