The Micronauts started as a toy line in the late 1970s. From there, Marvel comics was able to land the licensing deal and released two different series until 1986. Other companies including Image and Devil’s Due have run limited series before IDW gained the rights to both Micronauts and ROM, whose own series will launch on Free Comic Book Day.
Having never read an X-Files comic book I had no idea what to expect from this new first edition of a new series. The X-Files last run-season 11-had ended rather early compared to its predecessors in February of this year. This new series appears to have dropped the “season 12” moniker and is just #1 of a new series.
