Detective Comics #983 is a solid start for this new creative team. Now, here’s hoping this creative team sticks around just as long, if not longer.
If you are a fan of Plastic Man, then it is essential to check out Plastic Man #1, which reestablishes Plastic Man as an important, complicated character.
Wonder Woman Annual #2 is worth picking up, if only for the timely theme of pure love and its real power. The art is gorgeous, to boot.

The Man of Steel #1 is a well-executed, grounded action piece in its own right, but I have a hunch it’is going to end up being more about Rogol Zaar.
Supergirl: Being Super has made me a fan of both Kara and the team that brought this version to life. I could not put this book down!
Dark Days: The Road to Metal is a fantastic prologue to the main event, and the included back issues were a welcome addition to this DC novice.
