DC has dominated television recently. There’s Supergirl on CBS. The Flash, Arrow, and Legend of Tomorrow on The CW, Lucifer and Gotham on Fox, and an attempt at Constantine on NBC. Now it looks like Syfy is looking to cash in on the DCU small screen universe with a Krypton pilot.

The series will purportedly take place two generations before the annihilation of Kal-El’s home planet Krypton, and it will follow his grandfather as he tries to redeem the House of El.

Man of Steel writer David S. Goyer and the network have brought in Damian Kindler as the show’s executive producer and showrunner. Both Kindler and Goyer will be rewriting the pilot episode. Colm McCarthy is set to direct.

I read, I write, I play videogames, Ghostbusters is my favourite thing in the known universe, but quasars come in at a close second. I've been known to cry at the drop of a hat over happy and sad things alike. I've also been known to fly into a rage if things don't go my way, leading to many a fight in high school and breaking someone's nose on the TTC one time. I'm an anxious introvert but also a loud-mouthed bad influence. Especially on my cat. He learned it from watching me, okay!
