Sharpen Your Blades: Fruit Ninja is Getting a Movie ⋆

Angry Birds hit theatres this Friday and hot on its heels is another mobile game to movie adaption. It’s been announced that Fruit Ninja, the second highest selling iOS game of all time (over 1 billion downloads to date) will be getting a feature film.

Tripp Vinson will produce the movie under his Vinson Films production banner with Sam White and Tara Farney serving as executive producers. Vinson has partnered with Halfbrick Studios for what is intended to be a live-action, family friendly comedy. J.P. Lavin and Chad Damiani will write the script for a movie that will centre on ninjas with an inexplicable vendetta against produce.
