Episode Notes

We start the week out discussing news of Jonathan Hickman leaving the helm of the X-Men franchise. While nothing has been announced about his next step, we know it will be within Marvel. We talk about how the plans changed and what we want to see as he wraps up his run.

On the subject of moving, we talk about Brian Michael Bendis moving his Jinxworld line over to Dark Horse. In addition, we talk about the new deal that DC just struck with  Webtoon. How will these two stories affect the future of the comicbook industry?

This Week In Pop Culture.
We talk about the legacy of Clone Wars, the importance of the Star Trek franchise, then we wish happy birthday to John Romita, Jr, and Brian Michael Bendis, plus much more.

Lightning Round
This week Greg and Jonathan focus on New Comicbook Day, while Michael talks about Fear the Walking Dead and the Friday the 13th franchise.

This week is all about the first two episodes of What If…? What was the best episode so far? We have a clear winner, and we our likes and dislikes of the show so far.

This week we revisit a mysterious island in Bermuda #2. Then we visit a man with a unique set of skills in Second Chances #1. We get a chance to see how the richer half live in Eat the Rich #1. Finally, we wrap up with Kang The Conqueror #1.
