Episode Notes
News
We start this week’s Comics Agenda talking about the $7 million that New Mutants made this past week before jumping into news about the third installment of Ant-Man and The Wasp.
Next, we discuss Netflix making some of its content free for non-subscribers. Does it make sense? Will it make you subscribe?
Batman Day is coming, and this year you can have Batman or The Riddler give you directions through Waze. The question is: What other pop culture icons would you want giving you directions? And who would you never take advice from?
Boneless Saucy Nuggs
Michael brings us the story of a Lincoln, Nebraska man who is on a mission to end a lie that we have all been living. Boneless Wings are not actually wings. The man is so passionate that he has taken his mission to the city council. What do we think, and what silly hill are we willing to die on?
Comics
This week, we revisit Lost Soldiers with the second issue, as we find out more about the guys’ past and the black ops team they are working with now. Then, we travel through the eight realms with a black cat in Inkblot #1.
As we travel into space, we join a team of miners who seek out dead gods to harvest their bodies for profit in We Only See Them When They’re Dead #1. While thinking about space travel, we find out about some alien encounters in StarGazer #1.
Finally, we head over to the Marvel corner of the comicbook world and check out the latest adventures of Black Widow in the appropriately named Black Widow #1. Finally, we finish up the latest event with Empyre #6.
Comics Agenda is hosted by Michael (Twitter@mokepf7) and Greg (Twitter@Comicsportsgeek). We discuss new comicbook releases each week, in addition to news, movies, and TV.
