EPISODE NOTES

Movie Trailers

This week, not a lot of news going on, but we did get a trailer for the newest Grudge reboot. Are we excited? Do we need another Grudge reboot? Why the heck do people keep remaking this movie?

Pop Culture News

While talking about horror, we stumbled onto a story about a haunted house that has a 40-page waiver to sign. Plus you win money if you finish. Would any of us try it? Is the place all hype? We have no ideas, but we have opinions.

Comics

Speaking of horror, we start out our New Comics segment with a book that was not intended to be scary but was a horror to read with B.B. Free #1. In it, a young girl argues with her father while broadcasting a radio show in a swamp after a plague has wiped out capitalism. Yeah, we are not sure what that means either.

Next up, after a plague had started to kill humans around the world, the United States cut itself off from everyone. Now, 30 years later with humanity on the brink of extinction, the U.S. has made contact and offered to help save the world. But is their promise too good to be true? We discuss Undiscovered Country from superstars Scott Snyder and Charles Soule.

What happen to a warrior once she has defeated her mortal enemy and continued to grow old? Crone #1  answers that question and more.

Finally, from Marvel comics, everyone’s favorite Reaver gets his own solo series. Check out our thoughts on Yandu #1.

Comics Agenda is hosted by Anelise (Twitter@Anelise.Farris ), Michael (Twitter@mokepf7), and Greg (Twitter@Comicsportsgeek). We discuss new comic book releases each week, in addition to news, movies, and TV.
