Episode Notes

News
We start the week out by talking about some toy leaks from Spider-Man: No Way Home. What do the LEGO set and Funkos tell us about the upcoming movie? And what do we think of some of the things that we gleaned from the products?

Earlier this week the great film director Richard Donner passed away. We talk about Donner’s legacy when it comes to superhero movies and what some of our favorite movies were.

We wrap up the news section with the discussion of aliens in pop culture. With the anniversary of the Roswell crash this week, we talk about some of the best movies that involve aliens and some of our favorite characters that are not from this planet.

What’s In A Name?
Michael brings us the story of a teenage girl who had to legally change her name after being bullied for originally being named Alexa–the same name as Amazon’s Echo assistant. We talk about  the pitfalls of having a similar name and if companies should be more aware of using human names for their products.

This week we return to The Good Asian #3, check out the latest Spiderverse event with Extreme Carnage, and dig into the latest X-Men adventure with X-Men #1. Plus more
