Fans of Night School Studio and their breakout hit, Oxenfree, have been anxiously awaiting their chance to outdrink the Devil in their next game, Afterparty. Well, our wait is nearly over! Night School has announced that the game will be released October 29, just in time for Halloween!

Afterparty follows Night School’s signature style as a choice-driven, story-focused game about two barhopping best friends, Milo and Lola, who unexpectedly find themselves recently deceased and in Hell. Unsure of what happened or how they came to be punished with eternal damnation, the pair must drink the Devil under the table to earn re-entry to Earth and the mortal realm.

While the tone of the story seems much lighter and more humorous than the creepy, psychological horror of the award-winning Oxenfree, fans can no doubt expect the same high quality writing, art, and game play that the studio is known for. I am eagerly awaiting the launch of Afterparty at the end of October!

Afterparty will be released on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Windows PC, and Mac via the Epic Games Store. News on the Nintendo Switch launch is yet to come. The game will be $19.99 and will also be part of Xbox Game Pass’s monthly subscription priced at $9.99.
