Let’s Do The Time Warp Again!

FOX has released the first official trailer for the (not-so-live) musical event Rocky Horror Picture Show.

The network’s (not-so-live) musical remake of the cult classic is starring Laverne Cox (Orange is the New Black) as the deviant, alien scientist Dr. Frank-N-Furter. It was a role made famous by Tim Curry and, based on the trailer, a role Cox was born to play.

Additional Rocky Horror Picture Show stars include: the aforementioned Tim Curry coming in to play the Criminologist; Victoria Justice (Victorious) and Ryan McCartan (Liv and Maddie) as the newly engaged Janet and Brad; Reeve Carney (Penny Dreadful) as the creepy handyman Riff Raff;  Christina Milian (The Voice) as the good doctor’s maid Magenta; and Adam Lambert (American Idol winner) as Eddie.

The original Rocky Horror Picture Show will always be the quintessential way to do the Time Warp, but from the brief trailer below, this one is looking to a good entry to the Rocky Horror universe! It’s set to release this Halloween, exclusively on FOX.
