Ayesha’s comic book look

Guardians of the Galaxy turned out to be a surprise hit for Marvel and quickly became a fan favorite. I know that it’s my favorite Marvel move so far!  The highly anticipated sequel will be released next May and even though James Gunn posts quite a bit on social media, we still haven’t been given the littlest hint at who the villain could be….until now.

Joblo is reporting that the main villain in Guardians of the Galaxy 2 will be Ayesha, who has gone by other names throughout Marvel Comics history. The other names include Kismet, Paragon, and simply Her.  The character is an artificial super being, who was created by the Enclave in the comics, the Enclave also created Adam Warlock, who is the basically the male version of Ayesha.  Warlock has also been rumored to appear in the Guardians sequel.

A few months ago, actress Elizabeth Debicki (The Great Gatsby, The Man From U.N.C.L.E.) was added to the cast, but her role has been kept secret this whole time.  However, given her look, she looks pretty close to the character Ayesha.  At this point, nothing is confirmed and this is purely speculation.

Other additions to the cast of characters include Pom Klementieff as Mantis, Tommy Flanagan as Tullk, Christ Sullvian as Taserface, as well as Sylvester Stallone and Kurt Russell.  It is not known who Stallone and Russell’s roles will be, but there is a lot of talk out there that Russell will be playing Star-Lord’s father.  Next year seems like it will be another big year for Marvel. Along with Guardians of the Galaxy 2, we also get to look forward to the release of Spider-Man: Homecoming in July and Thor: Ragnarok in November.  Grab your popcorn and enjoy!
