I am already screaming at the TV and we’re only like two minutes into this episode.

Agent Cooper has been shot (OH NO) and thankfully his room service had arrived just in time to save his life. But wait, the employee is an old man and doesn’t seem to understand that Cooper has been shot (OH NO). He keeps treating the situation as unusual but without acknowledging that the person occupying the room has been wounded, despite a few pleas for him to call the doctor.

This had better be a weird fever dream, Lynch. It isn’t comical, it’s just annoying. I’m annoyed that this is happening.

Oh no. That wasn’t a fever dream. HERE comes the fever dream…

The tall man comes in and tells Cooper some things to help him.

-Man in a Smiling Bank
-The owls are not what they seem
-Without chemicals, he points?

Oh boy. More questions and not answers. MY FAVOURITE.

I’m guessing Cooper has a bulletproof vest on? Two of the wounds don’t appear to be bleeding so that’s promising. I mean, I’m pretty sure he won’t die but you never know.

TO POINTFORM!!!!! OBSERVATIONS!!!!

1) Uncle Gross Guy remains gross. I dislike him greatly. I’m not sure who I dislike the most in this show, to be honest.
2) I’m so grossed out by Audrey and her father and his aggressive pursuit of her, not knowing who she is. Vomit vomit vomit.
3) CAN SOMEONE PLEASE HELP AGENT GODDAMN COOPER? GAHHHHHH.
4) Oh thank god. TOOK YOU ALL LONG ENOUGH.

Random question: is the soap opera that Lucy watches on the TV a real soap opera or did they film it just for Twin Peaks? I COULD look this up but I’ll just pose the question here for now.

5) As we watch Ronette wake from her coma, I’m sitting here screaming that Ronette better not be murdered. Nope nope nope. I want ANSWERS, dammit.
6) Leland has gone off the deep end for real. Obviously he was not doing too great BEFORE but now he’s straight up BROKEN.
7) Are Maddy’s dreams implying that Laura was killed at home by one of her parents? Or did something else happen at The Palmer residence?
8) Leland is insane.
9) Hawke is an undervalued part of this team.
10) Bob’s love triangle between Norma and Nadine is so bittersweet and I actually think I feel kind of invested in what happens. I’m not too sold on Nadine still but Norma has such a sadness to her that I want her to have her happy ending with her high school sweetheart.
11) On that note, I also love Norma’s friendship with Shelly, especially in this episode. It seems like Norma sees a lot of herself in Shelly and tries to take care of her. It’s sweet.

This show is so weird. So weird.

Is Donna possessed by Laura? What up with her? She so weird.

Who’s that guy that was calling for Josie? Why’s he calling Hong Kong collect? WHO IS HEEEEEE?

Ok I trailed off there trying to just focus on the show, but one final note: WHAT THE SHIT WAS THAT ENDING WITH RONETTE’S FLASHBACKS?!!

I’m pretty invested right now. It took me a while to get into the swing of this but I want to see where it’s all going. E10 will be up tomorrow. Stay tuned!
