Any news out of the Gilmore Girls reboot fuels my excitement for its release like a good strong cup of coffee, and on May 20th we got the scoop of what the Netflix production going to be called.

Lorelai herself, AKA Lauren Graham, dropped the news on the Ellen Degeneres show.

“I can tell you the title for the first time. It’s four 90-minute episodes, and they’re winter, spring, summer and fall, so the show is called Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life.”

The title makes sense in the way the reboot will run, but personally I think the name sounds a wee bit…boring. The unofficial name going around the entertainment community calling it “Seasons” wasn’t even that bad. But that’s just me, and off the top of my head I can’t think of anything better.

Graham went on in the interview to gush about how much she has loved working on the reboot and how excited she is for the fans to see it. Rightly so too. Despite my disapproval of the name, my excitement level is still at about a 12 on a 1-10 scale.

What do you think of the title? Do you have any suggestions for an alternate? Tweet Rogues Portal or leave a comment on our Facebook page.
