As you all may know by now (except for the newer readers to this site – WHERE THE HELL HAVE YOU BEEN?!), I am a massive yaoi fangirl. I will always write a weekly recap of 19 Days and will occasionally write a review or two on a yaoi series!

When I went traveling to Tokyo, I found myself buying a lot (and I mean A LOT) of yaoi merch!! They were selling manga books, blind bags, blind boxes, cards, and gachapons!! I couldn’t help but purchase everything as they don’t sell anything like this back in the UK. I visited Tokyo a year and a half ago, and I still haven’t opened them! So, before I head back next year (try not to be too jealous), I wanted to open all my yaoi goodies now, so then I can buy more again once I’m out there.

What Do I Have to Open
In my possession, I have one Ten Count card, two Yarachin Bitch Club badges, and two Yarachin Bitch Club gashapons! I’ve already opened a Yarachin Bitch Club gashapon in a previous article, and I was hoping that I had more!! Both mangas are incredibly problematic in terms of content (we’re talking extreme abuse and very triggering plot themes). Ten Count is a manga I fell in love with because the story is truly gripping and it’s incredibly uncomfortable to read. That sounds like an odd thing to like about a manga but for a manga to evoke that sort of emotional response for me. I regard it as a good book! Yarachin Bitch Club is just complete smut. It’s a yaoi manga that I’m more than happy to admit that I just read for the smut.

Ten Count Card
I will write a little synopsis for both manga’s at the end of the article, but I’m itching to see what I get!! I will start with the Ten Count Card. There are ten cards that you can collect, and the product has been Shinshokan approved (they’re either the artist or the publisher). I love the artwork of Ten Count. I think it’s incredibly beautiful so I do not mind which one I get. My personal favourite has to be the card on the top right which has both Riku and Tadaomi in a compromising position.

And I got…

Riku Korose!!
I’m really happy with my card, and it’s such good quality!! Riku is my favourite character from the series, so I’m thrilled I managed to get a card of him. The artwork is absolutely stunning, and I’m kicking myself for not picking up more whilst I was out there. I love the hint of pink neon lighting in the background. I love seeing the characters in colour because (obviously) manga is usually in black and white. The company that brought this out was Zext Works. I had a quick look at their website, and the cards are still on sale on their website!! I might treat myself to a few more!!

Yarichin Bitch Club Badges
The next pieces I’m going to open are my Yarichin Bitch Club badges, and I was definitely drawn to the packaging! It’s purple and white with three supporting characters on the front which appear slightly faded in colour, but at the same time, I LOVE the design. I love what Ayato Yuri (the one with the sunglasses) is wearing! That’s my usual Saturday look!

And I got…

Itsuki Shikatani and Koshiro Itome!!
I wasn’t expecting the badges to be heart shaped!!! That’s a lovely, lovely surprise!! Also lucky me, I managed to get two different badges!! I love the fact they both compliment each other nicely colour wise too! The purple works well with the grey! The Koshiro badge is definitely my favourite as it’s a bit more serious. Nothing wrong with the Itsuki design but I would’ve preferred something slightly more… mature than him shoving his face with a watermelon.

Yarachin Gashapons
I cannot remember how many stickers you can collect in this series, but I do now you get two stickers with each Gashapon. So, I’ll just open them and see what characters I have. I do hope I get Yuu Kashima as he is my favourite characters from the series.

In my first Gashapon, I got…

A Tamura sticker!!
I am in love with my Tamura sticker!! This is why I bought these Gashapons!! For the smut!! The cat ears sticker is cute, but the Tamura sticker is perfect!! I’m honestly completely in love with it. The design is hot. That’s right I said it.

In my second Gashapon, I got…

Akemi Keiichi Sticker!!!
How lucky am I that I got three different stickers with each Gashapon?! Lucky, lucky me!!! My Akemi Keiichi sticker has this soft peach tint to it, and it just reminds me of all the peach flavoured condiments in Tokyo. The cheerleader outfit is also really really cute!!

I’m really happy with all my unboxings today!! Make sure you check out Ten Count as it is an incredible manga (which I’m 110% I’ve written a review for on this site) and maybe check out Yarachin Bitch Club. That one is not for everyone.

You can visit Zextworks here.
