This is part two of my Funko Friday: What’s New in Funkoland series of all the new Funkos coming out soon! With San Diego Comic Con looming, the people of Funko have been working tirelessly to bring you brand new Funko products! So what else do they have in store for us?
Conan O’Brien Funko Pops
Conan O’Brien will once again be immortalized with a set of four Pop! vinyl figures to be available when Conan returns to San Diego Comic-Con International! The 2017 Conan collection includes Conan as Spider-Man, Jedi Conan, The Flash Conan, and White Walker Conan! If any of you are planning to head to San Diego Comic Con please note that the Conan Funko pops will NOT be sold there.
SDCC Exclusive Wave 10: HBO (Game of Thrones and Westworld)
Even more characters from the futuristic park and hit HBO TV series Westworld come to the world of Pop! vinyl as SDCC exclusives! Characters include Musashi, Robotic Dr. Ford Host, They also have some Game of Thrones exclusives too which include the character The Mountain (armoured).
SDCC Pop! gets Animated Wave 1
Here is part on of the Pop! gets Animated SDCC exclusives. Funko is partnering with Warner Bros. Consumer Products to bring some classic characters into the Funko world and into your collection!! You can collect characters such as Peta Puma from Looney Tunes, Mr Hyde and Bugs Bunny 2-pack (I cannot wait until they bring out Lola Bunny), Super Hero Daffy Duck and Marvin the Martian who comes in three different colours – neon orange, neon pink and neon green.
SDCC Pop! gets Animated Exclusives Wave 2
This is the second wave of Pop! gets Animated SDCC exclusives with characters from Wacky Races which include Peter Perfect and Rufus Ruffcut, along with a 6” Big Gruesome Pop! There is also 3 new colourful flocked Scooby Doo Funko Pops (colours include blue, magenta and lime – I personally love the lime one). You can also get The Jetsons Rosie the Robot 3-pack where you can get her in a yellow, pink and an orange.
SDCC Exclusives: Miscellaneous
Funko has also Funko’d up a bunch of characters that don’t really fit in any criteria, but deserve the Funko treatment nevertheless. They are Five Nights at Freddy’s San Diego Comic Con 2017 exclusives are from Sister Location, the latest game in the series! The mighty Dwarven Colossus joins our Elder Scrolls series as a super-sized 6-inch Pop! Their very first San Diego Comic Con exclusive Dr. Seuss Pop! is the flocked Lorax! Powers Rangers 6″ Megazord is also making it’s way to San Diego and their Masters of the Universe series grows with a glow-in-the-dark Scareglow Pop!, flocked Panthor!
South Park Funko Pops
Funko are adding more characters to their South Park Funko Pop line! You can now collect Stan, Kyle, Professor Chaos, Terrance, Philip. Hot topic has an exclisive with Goth Stan (I need this for my own collection) and also Cartman with Clyde which is a Gamestop exclusive.
SDCC Exclusive: Disney
Can you believe there are still more Disney characters yet to turned into Funko?! Funko have a ton of Disney SDCC exclusives which include Chip and Dale 2-pack, flocked bouncing Tiger, Mr Toad from Mr Toad’s Wild Ride, Hei Hei from Moana and a glow-in-the-dark Negatron from Darkwing Duck.
SDCC Rick And Morty Exclusive
You can now add Tinkles and Ghost in a Jar to your Rick and Morty collection. On the Funko website they state ‘As the Master Toy Licensee Partner for Rick and Morty, Funko has made a concerted effort to showcase the incredible oddities of this uniquely creative show! The San Diego Comic-Con exclusive Tinkles with Ghost in a Jar Pop! is yet another example of why we’re proud to partner with minds capable of producing something adorable, fascinating, and, inevitably, sinister. ‘
SDCC Warner Bros. Exclusives
Here we have a wave of Funko Pops dedicated to television and movie favourites from Warner Bros. You can now collect Lincoln as Reaper from The 100, Aragorn and Arwen from Lord of the Rings (2-pack). You can also collect Harry Potter on his broom and Luna Lovegood with glasses. You can also collect a 6″ Occamy from the film Fantasic Beasts.
